MessFlow (OurMess) — Multi-Tenant Mess Management SaaS

Project Overview
MessFlow (also known as OurMess) is a multi-tenant SaaS application tailored for shared bachelor and student flats (messes) in Bangladesh. It simplifies shared living by automating member meal counting, daily bazaar expenses, utility bill distributions, deposit balances, and monthly settlement reports.
The Challenge
Shared flat management often relies on handwritten paper logs, error-prone manual arithmetic, and lack of transparency among flatmates, leading to disputes over deposits, meal rates, and utility costs.
The Engineering Solution
Architected a multi-tenant web application using React, Vite, TypeScript, and Supabase. Leveraged PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS) to enforce strict tenant isolation, ensuring mess members only access their own unit’s financial data while mess managers have granular controls.

- Daily meal count logger with breakfast, lunch, and dinner calculation rules.
- Bazaar expense tracking with receipt logging and instant meal-rate recalculation.
- Automated monthly breakdown generation factoring utility costs, individual deposits, and meal totals.
- Interactive charts, printable PDF summaries, and real-time notifications.
